The Big 6

On Tuesday May 12th my little Jones turned 6. I still can't believe he his already 6! I don't think Jones could have waited any longer for it to happen. He had a countdown calendar and would talk about it everyday for the last month or two. The morning of his birthday he woke up around 7am which is not normal for him. As soon as he woke up he came and stopped me from doing laundry and woke Mark and Jaimin up so he could open his presents a.s.a.p. . He was so cute as soon as Jaimin walked in the room he said "here Jai you get to open this one". After he opened all his presents he went out and played with all of them. As you can tell by the picture above he wanted a space themed party.
This year for his birthday he decided he wanted to hike up to waterfall. We figured that Jaimin was old enough so we said okay. If was a fun hike it just took us a little bit longer than normal. The waterfall was a lot bigger than I had ever seen it before. The boys loved it.

As you can tell by this picture we did get a bit wet. We went closer to get a picture and the wind started to blow so the waterfall sprayed us all. Aftert getting wet Jones decided it was too cold to stay up there any longer so we had a quick snack and a drink and headed back down. All in all I think he had a great birthday. Now we are just counting down the days until his next birthday.

LOOK MOM I CAN DRIVE NOW!

So this year my grandma decided to buy a golf cart for her husband to drive around the farm with. Well as you can see by the videos and picture, the boys were very pleased with her new purchase. I decided to let Jones try to drive. Well he couldn't get enough of it all he wanted to do was drive it around the pasture. And ever since we left my grandmas all I have been hearing about was how he wants his own cart. I told him to start saving.

If you listen closely to the video with just the boys you can hear my mom panicking in the background. The funny thing is I had told Jones just to go a short distance to play a trick on the family. Well I guess my mom had just assured my nervous grandma that I was not going to let him drive it without an adult. I think my grandma got a bit more nervous after that.
